The Association of African Law Library and Information Professionals has congratulated its President- Mr. Oludayo John Bamgbose of the Ajayi Crowther University, Nigeria and the Secretary- Mrs. Janet Twum on the Ghana Law School. The duo jointly won the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL) annual bursary to enable them attend the IALL conference scheduled to hold at Stanford University, United States of America in October, 2022. In his response, John revealed ‘ it is indeed a new dawn for us at AfLLIP as two of us would be joining the rest of other law librarians across the globe at the prestigious Stanford University. No doubt, one is elated about this development and we cannot but thank the leadership of IALL for considering us worthy of this fellowship’. Meanwhile, Janet in her reaction noted that ‘the participation at the IALL meeting would afford AfLLIP network with sister organisations and to see how AfLLIP could borrow from the global best practices’.
